How to adjust the flatness of tempered glass

The problems of poor flatness of tempered glass can be divided into two categories:

First, the flatness of bended tempered glass is not good. Generally, the coincidence target is considered. When the coincidence degree of bending tempered glass products does not meet the planning requirements, the following three phenomena will occur:

(1) The product glass and planning requirements present distorted errors. This shows that the bending toughened glass is not positioned correctly on the roller, and the center line of the bending glass is not parallel to the roller. If this situation occurs, the operator needs to adjust the orientation of the glass from scratch on the upper table, so that the center line of the bending glass is parallel to the roller.

(2) The product glass is different from the planned tortuous depth. This shows that there are some problems in setting the parameters of tempering process: in the heating stage, the heating temperature of glass is not good; in the cooling stage, the main problem is that the upper and lower air outlets of the wind grille are not synchronized when blowing. In the blowing stage, one first turns on the air blower, and the other turns on the air blower. If the lower air-blower opens the air-blower first, the winding depth of the glass will increase after shaping. On the contrary, the upper air-blower opens the air-blower first, and the winding depth of the glass will decrease after shaping, which will not arc according to the planned depth. At this moment, the operator can adjust the technological parameters from scratch and adjust the bending depth of glass properly.

(3) The surface quality of glass products does not meet the planning requirements.

Operators can properly adjust the winding time and quenching time of heating section, or the tension degree of winding transmission chain, and solve such problems by adjusting the steelmaking process parameters or equipment.
